Splitter Privacy Policy

Effective October 8, 2026

Splitter shows one unread count per account for the Gmail inboxes and Slack workspaces you connect. It is built so that your data stays on your device. We, the developer, do not run a server and never receive your data.

What Splitter accesses

When you connect an account, you sign in on Google's or Slack's own page and choose what to allow. Splitter asks only for what it needs:

What Splitter stores, and where

None of this is sent to us or anyone else. Splitter contacts only Google and Slack, directly from your device, to fetch the counts.

What Splitter does not do

Removing your data

Remove an account in Splitter, or delete the app, to erase its data from your device. To also withdraw Splitter's access on the provider's side:

Google API Services

Splitter's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Children

Splitter is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
